Too bad the 1 series is butt friggin' ugly! What happened to BMW's "claimed time" of 4.8 sec. 0-60 time for the M? I'll take the 3 series thanks!

Lots to love about the 135i. Very happy that BMW has realized they have been building cars for a while that while being very nice are getting to large and heavy for a part of their community. Hopefully will see more developments this way.

Still not that much fluff since neither the 135i and 335i could not keep up with a 6 year old car on the track.

A 6 year old M3 vs. new 135i and 335i ???????
I'd hope the new cars win (and they did)

I was hoping for a real comparision...... A new M3 vs. the new cars..........this just a worthless fluff piece

Jon, indeed - a tii or CSL version would rock, but as of now, this 135 is so much more power than I've ever had that really, I'm not craving more power.

If I tracked my car, I could definitely see wanting it more stripped down - both weight wise and options wise (which btw, I loaded mine up!). :o)

Don't get me wrong GSK the 135i is a nice car all around and a positive step in my view by BMW. However looking at the much smaller package vs the 335i just is rather shocking to me that the weight is only down 200lbs.

I am a fan of the 135i series but I still do believe that a tii or CSL version would rock!

For all the things the 135i is, in my small world view its in desperate need of a diet. The fact that its only 200lbs lighter than the much larger 335i.

I would purchase a sub 3k pound 135i in a heartbeat though I think BMW would be hard pressed to save 373 pounds from the 135i. For all the talk of returning to a smaller form to compensate for the ever growing 3 series have to admit I was astonished by the wright of the 135i being so very high.

I've had my 135i for 4 days now - traded in my '05 MCS. I don't find it too heavy at all. I seems tiny to me next to the 335i; but at the same time does not seem massive in comparison to my MINI. I'm not a race driver or anything like that, so I am positive I'm not picking up on things that others might. So far - I'm loving the new car - no shortage of power or handling at all. Each day gets even better as I get to learn the car more and more.

A good video, would love to see the comparison once/if we see a true tii 135i against the M3. For all the things the 135i is, in my small world view its in desperate need of a diet. The fact that its only 200lbs lighter than the much larger 335i.
