\’09 BMW 750Li Spied in US

Our friend Palbay was able to get some fine photos of an early production 750Li. This car was on its way to the BMW Performance Center when he snapped it. Not wearing any cover and actually sporting a model designation is a sign that this car is up to par and testing should be complete. A Spring launch is still expected for this new model and is eagerly anticipated by dealers and technology hounds around the county.

While we were initially not a fan of the more subdued styling in photos, the car looks much better in person and has some lines that will surprise you. You can check out the remainder of his photos here. Thanks to Palbay! [pictobrowser 24869089@N02 72157608425773721]

Observation: I think that the rear of the car is looking better and better (according to me) in these newer, real-life photos.

  • Hunter: I could not agree more. When I saw the car in Munich I was amazed by how much better it looks in person.

And I’m also really starting to like the 3-D detail in near the sides of the car in the taillights. The third photo shows it well on the left side.

  • for me, when I first saw the 5 series via pics…I was disappointed to say the least and even now, when you build a 5 on BMW’s site, it just looks weird.

But one look at that sucker on the streets and yum yum yum do I love. I have a feeling, the same will happen with the 7’s.
