The 4 cylinder will no doubt be the Prince engine and I’m curious how the overall weight pans out between these two solutions

Actually it's a new version of a 2.0L BMW engine. The 1.6L Prince won't show up for a few years based on what I've heard.

Maybe the birth of "MDrive"? Since BMW is going to start marketing "sDrive" with the Z4 and already have "xDrive". Plus they lost against Infiniti on that M battle last year. Either way if one of these cars comes into production I would like to see it. I am favoring the twin-turbo 4 cylinder that is suppose to have high rev limiter.

<blockquote.According to the article look for the 120i to have as much as 140bhp and the 135i to feature the revised twin turbo 3.0L inline six current in the F01 7 Series, potentially producing over 330bhp.

Great news! One thing though, is the estimated 140hp for the 120i correct? Seems very low? Maybe 240?

Very nice, sounds like a potentially very interesting car. Between cutting the weight and upgrading both the motor, suspension, brakes, and the body kit would make this car very interesting indeed.

Did spot one small error in the article Gabe, The third paragraph "kid(we're betting"

Coming in mid 2010, wonder if this news is making you think about holding out on our new car purchase to hear more about this.
