Still at the end of every day the technical wizardry to make a heavy vehicle perform will never impress me as much as a lighter weight car that has similar ability due to lighter weight. I do have respect for BMW’s ability to wring performance out of large and heavy cars. Still at the end of every day the technical wizardry to make a heavy vehicle perform will never impress me as much as a lighter weight car that has similar ability due to lighter weight. For all my love of the 1 series that has never extended to the very bloated weight of BMW vehicles.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, yes the 135i is a heavy mo-fo. However if you look at the EU unladen weight it may be a little lighter and now fare as poorly.
