Vision Efficient Dynamics is a concept to determine a BMW is relevant in the future. A Concept that determines that Going Efficient does not mean surpassing style or excitement.

Both Z2′s are BMW’s in the purest form. A development target of no more than 1000kgs , Highly efficient three/four cylinder power , no six cylinder will be inserted into this car to seperate it from the Z4. Although it will be BMW’s first hybrid sports car.

Z2 is effectively a product borne out of the economic crisis. A Performance car which is highly efficient , lightweight and superbly dynamic offering a driving experience that equals or surpasses cars that would cost twice as much.

So are we to assume that the Z2 concept for a small roadster below the Z4 is now dead, or dead for the foreseeable future?
