If the coup and convertible get the new ZF 8-speed transmission, what are the chances that the 3 Series sedan and touring will get it too before the models are replaced?
ReplyWe are categorizing this as a rumor for the time being as it is unconfirmed. We felt that it was too juicy to push to the side and this information has some merit to it, it is not just someone guessing. We have heard from a reliable source that BMWNA is considering bringing the 740i to the US market this spring as 2011 model. This same source indicates that several other models will be introduced at that time as well. The other launches we were tipped to include the 3 Series coupe and convertible Life Cycle Impulse (facelift) equipped with an 8 Speed transmission in addition to cosmetic upgrades. We as always will keep you up to date as we hear more.

ReplyTBeam- The sedan/sportwagon will remain the same until replaced. Let’s just say that over the next week we will be able to give everyone some more solid information on what to expect from BMW this Spring… maybe even tonight
