This is driving me crazy. It’s almost 3 am, I know I should be in bed and yet… I’m too excited.

  • Nice. Was kinda hoping they’d bring back the Inka Orange, but this is a nice update. Can’t wait to see more pics and get more updates.

    Thanks for posting.

We are planning something similar for the MINI Coupe which we will begin to tease at the tail end of the year.

Inka Orange was additionally launched with the first M3 GTS before the current car which showcases some detail changes to coincide with the revised M3.

The proplem with the original paint was the content in relation to the environment for mass production.

Although there are BMW senior employees who have Inka Orange on their 135i and M3’s respectively. And their wish was to keep their cars exclusive.

So the new Orange for the M3 GTS is more or less the modern update for Inka. Given the name is symbolic with BMW history and it’s history especially for the 2002 we repackaged it but made it more environmentally friendly.

The new metallic orange “Valencia Orange” remains exclusive to the 1M. But the colour will also be introduced with the new BMW M6 and perhaps maybe a run-out M3 model when we get to the end of that road?

There will be some Matt finishes available through BMW individual but this will cost extra.
