Thanks to AutoZeitung (who apparently can ‘t quite figure out embargo dates) we have our first look at the F10 M5. The new M5 pumps out 560 PS (552 hp) at 6,000 rpm – 1,200 lower than the E60 M5. Torque maxes out at just 1,500 rpm with 501 total on tap. Then theres 0-62 mph takes just 4.4 seconds thanks to the DCT and launch control. Of course that ‘s the normal conservative figure BMW puts out. Expect something close to the 3s when the magazines get a hold of it.

But the star of the show (in our minds at least) is the new M Differential with predictive torque vectoring. But we ‘ll have more on that later. In the meantime feast your eyes on the new F10 M5.

As you can see the production version of the F10 is hardly different than the concept seen in Shanghai with the exception of the new bespoke mirrors and side sills. And there ‘s that gorgeous color that reminds of us of Estoril Blue.

Look for more info coinciding with the M fest next week.
