It reminds me of the Alpha Romeo giulietta sprint veloce Zagato also a breathtaking auto. The only thing I might add is an ///M badge next to the Zagato “Z”… sackboy Absolutely STUNNING ! Yes- and it should be an M model ! sackboy Rod888 Agreed – stunning! lavardera So what is underneath this? The Z4 chassis? Is it the inline 6 or did they put the V8 in this? It looks bigger than the Z4. Is it 1 series or 3 series based? BimmerFile_Michael Z4 based but looks bloated. Personally I like elements of it but the rear almost needs a bigger chassis to pull off- maybe if it was 6 based it would look better to me. I do love the hood and how it meets the bumper- I “get” why BMW is going with the line where those meet but they sacrificed a lot of looks for ease of assembly. Joe C I don’t think it looks that bad. It is certainly a big improvement over the cut line on top and behind the kidney grille. Did you want the hood to incorporate the kidneys, as they did in the past, like in my e39? that would be abit prettier, I agree. But given that there would be no bumper, a la Aston Martin. a small front impact would mean a new aluminum hood. Quite an expensive consequence. All in all I think it stunning. No “M” is a bummer. But I imagine this will be very expensive even in standard form.
