A few weeks back BMW M celebrated it’s 40th birthday by doing what it’s always done; racing. More specifically BMW Classic celebrated the anniversary at this year’s edition of Germany’s largest classic car race at the Nürburgring; the Oldtimer GP. It was a rare chance to see both vintage and modern BMW race cars on the track at the same and (gulp) at times driven in anger. Well worth a watch after the break.
