Video: M235i RACING From BMW Motorsport

Two years ago, Dr. Jens Marquardt, Head of BMW Motorsport, informed us of a plan to work with BMW M and produce a race car that could compete a season for under 100,000 euros. Today we see the fruits of that collaboration in the M235i RACING.

At a price of 59,500 Euros (plus VAT), this car helps to make motorsport affordable on an entry-level basis. Customer feedback has been very positive so far. No wonder, as the new car is a true beauty (or beast). The video is self explanatory- and yes it is available in an automatic.

They wanted to get back to grass roots level motorsports, where small teams could afford to compete like decades ago and it seems like they have done just that.

I remember when the M3 GT4 came to market and how it was so cost prohibitive for BMW USA to import it, now it seems like the M235i RACING may be an option. This seems to be a value when you think about it…. or maybe the drool factor has my head in shambles.
