BF Garage: Spring is in the Air Our 1M is Out of its Cage

After the long winter vortex it finally got above 50 degrees recently in Chicago and the 1M officially rose from its winter slumber. After driving an E36 for most of the winter the power to weight ratio mixed with the short wheel base makes the 1M almost hysterical to drive. It’s not near as refined as the E92 M3 or surely what we’ll see in the F82 M4 but it’s lively and incredibly entertaining. And of course tail-happy. With temps under 40F (and even a few flakes over the past few days) it’s not really happy going straight, even down a straight road.

Next up for the 1M? The one we’ve been waiting for, head to head with the M235i.
