BMWNA has commissioned a production company to tell the story of BMW Motorsports in the US. First up is an excellent mini-documentary detailing the 1975 season – the first for BMWNA Motorsports.
1975 was pivotal year for the BMW brand in America. BMW of North America had just been incorporated to represent brand and the company in the USA. The famous “Ultimate Driving Machine” tagline had just been coined and to emphasize the sporting nature of BMW automobiles, BMW Motorsport contested the IMSA Camel GT Challenge with the iconic 3.0 CSLs. This is the story of that year told by the guys that lived it.
