Long time source of future BMW details YNGULDYN is at it again this time spilling details in the 2019 M340i. The M340i will be the only G20 3 Series wth the traditional inline six and thus will be the pinnacle of the range (until the next gen M3 drops in 2020).
The M340i will be powered by a revised version of the B58 engine producing 380 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. The bad news (for us at least) is that this will also mark the death of the manual for fast 3 Series as the M340i will be offered as a manual only.
The good news is that the car will come standard with M Brakes, M Differential, Variabke Steering, adaptive M Suspension (even on xDrive models) M Steering Wheel, M Exterior, rear spoiler and 19” wheels.
It will be offered with two exclusive colors: Portimao Blue, Blue Ridge Mountain.
Look for the next generation 3 Series to drop in late 2018 and the M340i to hit US showrooms in the spring of 2019.
