Thanks to a source on Bimmerpost we have our first look at the upcoming BMW M5 Competition package. Just months after the global release of the all new M5 BMW will unveil an even more powerful version of the super sedan on May 8th. The Competition Package’s headline figure is the 625 hp output and the 590 ft lbs. But it’s the suspension tuning and sport exhaust that might steal the show. Here are the specs according to Bimmerpost.
Global Specification: – Power up 19Kw (+25hp) from 441 to 460Kw – Toque up 50Nm (+37 lb-ft) from 750 to 800Nm – 0.1 second quicker to 62mph – Sports Exhaust** with competition specific tuning (more cracks and louder) – Revised Suspension (lowered and firmer in sports/+ settings) – Black Badging, including “competition” under rear M5 logo – Black front and side grills – Blacked out lower portion of rear bumper (around diffuser) – M Carbon Engine Cover – Competition illuminated door seals – Y-Spoke 789M wheels
