If you wanted to see every detail both inside and out of the new BMW 7 Series, we’ve got your video. BMW has released a collection of various videos of the car driving, sitting and being talked about by head of BMW design Adrian Van Hooydonk. We’ve taken the time to piece them all together into something a little more coherent than just separate videos so you don’t have to wade through video after video. You can just grab a beverage and sit back and enjoy all that is the new BMW 7 Series.
Here is a short little video that shows interior and the basic use of the next iDrive system. Besides being a new controller the actual visual portion of the system has been completely redesigned as well. Check out how the new controller can rock now!
Our friend Jonathan Spira, of Roundel and the BMWCCA, has also written a very nice article on the new systems content and functions which can be viewed here, and of course our many articles on the new iDrive.

It is once again Friday so what a better way to kick off the weekend then showing a clip of the guys at Top Gear doing what they do best. Once you watch the clip and then do a double take we would love to hear your comments on hybrids in general, BMW will be releasing hybrids in the X6 and 7 series sometime next year so even BMW fans are not immune to the wrath of the hybrid!
BMW marketing is at it again; teasing us with something like dangling a carrot in front of a rabbit. I am fairly sure what this teaser is for but let’s see with you are astute readers come up with…
Today we offer up a nice video of some doughnuts and commentary with BMW Sauber F1 pilot Nick Heidfeld as well as WTCC and Formula BMW driver’s. Nice to see BMW allows the factory to shut down and workers to have some entertainment like this!
BimmerFile is dedicated to bringing you the most interesting news, links and reviews related to the BMW brand and it's vehicles.
We believe in the old school BMW ownership experience. We believe in garage nights with a six pack and some friends. We believe in 2002s, in E30 M3s and E34 540s with the 6 speed. We believe in progress in both design and engineering but we haven't lost sight of what made the brand and its products great all those years ago. And yes, we believe in the manual transmission.
We long for the days of the wave and for the days of roll-up windows. Yet we love the gadgets on the inside and the xenons on the outside.
In short, we can't get enough of BMWs. This is BimmerFile.
