The i8 has plenty of parlor tricks. However the one that most of the non-automtive press seems to be hung-up on are the laser lights. BMW has created a video detailing the development and the benefits of the technology. And based on the investment and the emphasis they’re placing on this technology, we’d expect laser headlights to trickle down into the rest of the range over the next decade.
