According to Auto Evolution the answer is yes. That matches up with what we’ve heard through the rumor-mill as well. In fact at the recent launch of the M3 and M4 we asked the same question and got the kind of non-verbal response one gets when asking questions we all know the answer to.
Will the GTS make it to the US this time? We’d be surprised if we didn’t see some type of GTS or CSL make it across the pond with this generation M4. However EPA certification isn’t cheap. And that cost will of course have to be absorbed by the price of the car.
That aside we’d expect BMW to follow-up a similar path as with the last GTS which was much less polished than the E46 CSL and more track focused. We’ll have more as we get it.
