Despite an unusually warm afternoon, the turn out was amazing with over 400 BMW cars from various generations; from BMW 3 Series (E21, E30, E36, E46, E90/92, F30 and G20) to 5 Series (E12, E28, E34, E60, F10 and G30) were present. Rare items also on display were Zs (Z3 M Coupe, Z4 M Coupe, Z3 Roadster, Z4 Roadster), the Ms (such as M3 GTS, M3 E30) and the big coupes (E9, E24 and E31).

The vibe was even more special this year as enthusiasts celebrated the 45th anniversary of BMW Art Cars, the project that has turned automobiles into “canvases” since 1975. This year saw “BMW Unbound World of Art Series” project, in which Thai multidisciplinary artists used the cars to create art works for the first time on the concept “A Tribute to BMW Art Cars”.

To highlight the grandeur of the 45th anniversary, the BMW Art Cars Gallery, featuring a collection of legendary art works by international-acclaimed artists, was on display. In a tribute to BMW Art Cars, nine unique art cars created by renowned artists joined the parade.

A Transformer Robot was on hand to pose for selfies while Container Art and a Lighting Installation made more selfies hard to resist. These extravagant touches turned the event in a truly wonderful time.

It was a night to enjoy it all – new experiences, colour, fun, art and friendship from like-minded enthusiasts. Such a family meeting couldn’t have happened were it not for the bimmers at #BIMMERMEET4.
