BimmerCast #41 sees frequent contributor Matt Adams joining Michael and I to talk 1M. But more importantly for many of you, we drop the bombshell that there may be more news to come on options and packages for the baby M product. So if you ‘re annoyed about having to order two packages to get one option, there may be hope yet.
But what about the 1M engine? We know it ‘s very similar to the Z4 35is mill. But what is really different? We talk details and where the M engineers did their magic to create this new version of the N54. The short answer? Yes this is a different engine than in the 335is and the Z4 35is.
We then turn our attention to the Vision concept turned product car and then new “i ” brand. Collectively we ‘re all actually more excited for that little carbon monocoque city car than the pricey three liter diesel Vision car as it represents a pretty bold future for BMW.
Finally we end with what we are calling the 1M Price is Right. In other words our guesses on the 1M base price in the US.
