Hot out of the BimmerFile inbox we have the first confirmation that the 6 Series Gran Coupe (the four door 6 Series) is being readied for production. Above you can see the first internal order sheets for the car. As expected it ‘ll share options with the the coupe and convertible 6 Series that launched in 2011. (Full form after the break)
If BMW follows it ‘s typical formula, pricing for the car is expected to be lower than that of the Coupe or convertible (which hover around $100k with popular options). We expect the car to be publicly debuted in either Detroit or Geneva but hit the internet much sooner.
Considering the timing of the above screen capture, the Gran Coupe should hit dealers in the US by the spring of 2012. Then, following the release of the M6 next fall, look for the M version of the Gran Coupe to debut a year later in the spring of 2013.
