Taking your BMW to the track is something that we highly recommend everyone do at least once. Of course once you do it, you’ll want to hit the track again and again. Which is why we wanted to give a shout-out to an event in our backyard being put on by the BMWCCA & Autobahn Country Club so you know it’ll be first rate. We are once again having our BMW Spring HPDE Event at Autobahn May 20, 21 and 22, this time celebrating the 100th anniversary of BMW. We have made some sweeping changes to the HPDE event, it is under new management and we hope to sell it out this year.

We have revamped the HPDE portion of the event to be more flexible and attract a younger crowd than we have historically seen.

BMW will be there with free “Street Rides” of new BMW models, the car show seems to be filling up and has attracted several sponsors including RockAuto, Bridgestone and others.

The event has been selected by Bridgestone to be a leg of the HPDE tour, and we expect to have national coverage by the Roundel and some local coverage by the Tribune and other outlets. We will of course have a special dinner Saturday night prepared by our world class Autobahn chef, Peggy Gerdes. And probably some beer tasting by our resident Homebrewers.
