So the Z2 really got the axe. Shame, I was looking forward to a small BMW RWD coupe.
ReplyIt’s a huge day for BMW at the Frankfurt IAA motor show and we’re there to cover it all. We’ll have new photos going up all day in our feed above. So check back throughout the day for updates from the floor.

ReplyIt didn’t get the axe per se, it just is not being shown here. It exists in concept form (in 2 versions a la MINI). I would not be surprised to see them in LA or at Detroit to offset the X3 SAV intro also the MINI Countryman cross over.

ReplyDede- 3 Series GT no, 5 in production form.
A source of ours has stated that if a 3 GT would be given the green light it would more than likely be built in the US along the X3- to make the plant run as full as possible. This has yet to be confirmed but we trust the source.
ReplyThere’s really no need for a 3 series GT. Just bring over some more exciting wagons.
