The E30 has become a legitimate legend. No it’s not perfect. The steering rack could be quicker and there are plenty of minor faults that owners are all too aware of. But taken as a whole the E30 is everything that a BMW should be. Small, responsive, and in total incredibly satisfying to drive. And after twenty years since the last one rolled off the production line, they’ve reached mythical status. Drive takes a look at an excellent example of a tuned and sorted E30. And then lays down plenty of black rubber tracks.
