BMW just announced having sold 100,000 electrified cars in 2017. Beginning today they’re aiming for that number to hit 500,000 in two years according to CEO Harald Krueger.

The products that get them there will be both hybrids (of almost every vehicle sold) and a few key all electric vehicles:

  • 2019 all electric MINI hatch
  • 2019 all electric BMW X3
  • 2020 all electric 4 Series Gran Coup (which may debut in 2019)

The all electric BMW i3 will continue on as the brands entry point for all electric vehicles until it’s replaced in the first part of the next decade.
