Today we get our first look at the all new 2021 G22 BMW 4 Series in motion. While the car is camouflaged there’s plenty to see and hear in this video. For one the overall shape is much more 8 Series like than the traditional 3 and 4 series coupe body. It’s also noticeably longer and lower than the previous 4 series. But perhaps most importantly it looks even more dynamic.

To do this BMW engineers started from almost ground zero in regards to suspension and chassis tuning. The goal was to bring back some of the engagement that had been missing since the E46 3 Series coupe. While we won’t drive the car until the fall, these facts and the early reviews point to a car that should carry the tradition of the much loved 3 Series coupe forward.

The G22 4 Series will be revealed later this summer with sales in the US beginning in the spring of 2021.
