See the 2021 BMW M3 and M4 At the Nurburgring

The 2021 BMW M3 and M4 are nearing final form and this week they underwent final validation testing at the Nurburgring. And this isn’t just any test but industry pool day when the ‘Ring is open to manufacturers for testing. That means you not only see the 2021 BMW M3 and M4 but also the M340i, upcoming Porsches, Mercedes and pretty much everything else.
The 2021 BMW M3 and M4 will deliver more performance and technology then ever before. But for most of our readers both take a back seat to engagement. Luckily rumors are pointing to a renewed emphasis on driver engagement and with the target of more steering and chassis feel transmitted transmitted to the driver.
The S58 inline twin turbo will develop a range of power; 450 hp (Pure model), 475 hp (base) and 500 (Competition). A manual will be available with at least the Pure model and potentially the Competition as well.
Look for most options to be carry overs from the G80 3 Series with the addition of carbon ceramics.
The debut will happen virtually later this summer with production hitting in late Fall. The US should see the 2021 M3 in the early spring with the M4 later in that year.
