It’s fair to say there hasn’t been as much excitement around a new BMW product since the 1M. And while US production of the M2 will likely start in November, we don’t know exactly when it will make its public debut (Frankfurt?). In the meantime, the supposedly spiritual successor the E46 M3 is taking its last laps around the ‘Ring. As far as exterior design is concerned, we are probably looking at the final version of it, the only thing missing being the typical M side-view mirrors. Regarding color choices, we also know that the M2 will come in Alpine White, Black Sapphire Metallic, Mineral Grey Metallic, and Long Beach Blue Metallic. If this turns out to be the final choices, the lack of more vivid colors is unfortunate. In any case, the M2 sits on top of our list for our next car so November can’t come soon enough!
