The 2019 BMW Z4 is just weeks away and we have our best look yet at the new roadster. Last week BMW has gave us an early look at the car last week undergoing final tuning at the Miramas test center is the south of France. Now we get an undisguised look via some patent images thanks to Autoweek.nl.

Why do we have such high hopes for this Z4 after the previous version was less than stellar? This new version is more geared toward feedback and performance based on early prototype drives.

“The vehicle concept of the new BMW Z4 is geared consistently towards agility and driving dynamics,” explains Jos van As, Head of Application Suspension. “The high level of body stiffness and the very rigid suspension attachment provide the perfect basis for a set-up that guarantees the performance qualities of a genuine sports car in terms of steering precision as well as longitudinal and transverse acceleration.”

Look for the official release to drop later this summer. Until then, enjoy an early look.
