Today, the BMW Welt in Munich welcomed its 100,000th vehicle-collection customer today, Thursday. Helmut Marxen, a businessman from Sylt, actually took delivery of two cars: a BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Sportline and a BMW X3.
As these leaked images show, BMW's first electric offering from its sub brand BMWi remains almost the same as the i3 Coupe Concept in terms of interior and exterior styling features. We're headed to the future sans "flux capacitor" it would seem. The i3 consists of a carbon fiber reinforced passenger cabin, known as the Life Module and an aluminum chassis housing the drivetrain/batteries dubbed the Drive module.
The next generation M3 is in its final evaluation phase testing at the Nürburgring and caught on video. It will be faster, and lighter than the outgoing model- and it handles like on rails, check out the video for yourself.
BMW today announced pricing for the ground-breaking BMW i3 electric vehicle. The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (without Destination & Handling) in the US will be $41,350, before any federal or state incentives.
Both Z4 GTE race cars held the lead during the mistake free race. Maxime Martin set the fastest lap of the race (1:15.907 minutes, L102) in the closing minutes of the contest.
