World Premier: The BMW Concept Ninety by Roland Sands

Mercenary bike designer and erstwhile professional motorcycle racer Roland Sands was tapped by BMW to build a one-of-a-kind tribute to BMW\'s iconic R 90 S. This, as yet another stop in the 90 Years of BMW Motorrad celebration parade. Dubbed the \"Concept Ninety\", this is a new interpretation of what is for many the sexiest bike BMW has ever made.

Update: 24 Hours of the Nürburgring

Nürburgring (DE), 19th May 2013. The first few hours of the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring (DE) have been a turbulent affair. BMW Sports Trophy Team Marc VDS has made a good start to the endurance classic. As night fell over the Nordschleife, the team had established itself in the leading group with both BMW Z4 GT3s.

DTM: BMW Stripped of Brands Hatch Pole

Brands Hatch, UK: After turning the fastest lap in qualifying, Martin Tomczyk’s team RMG had his car underweight and he was stripped of the pole. A devastating blow- but with Augusto Farfus (BR) now lining up in second place, in front of Joey Hand (US) in third. Bruno Spengler (CA) starts the second race of the season from fourth. Marco Wittmann (DE), Andy Priaulx (GB), Timo Glock (DE) and Dirk Werner (DE) start from sixth, seventh, tenth and 14th respectively giving BMW a fighting chance to take home a victory.
