The 2021 BMW 4 Series has leaked. Thanks to an Instagram account we have our first look at the shocking new 4 Series. Lifted from a print brochure (apparently they still make those), the photos show the anticipated massive vertical grille and 8 Series-like silhouette.

What we know so far about the 2021 G22 BMW 4 Series

While the cars we’ve seen thus far have all been camouflaged, there’s plenty we already know. For one the overall shape is much more 8 Series like than the traditional 3 and 4 series coupe body. It’s also noticeably longer and lower than the previous 4 series. But perhaps most importantly it looks even more dynamic.

To do this BMW engineers started from almost ground zero in regards to suspension and chassis tuning. The goal was to bring back some of the engagement that had been missing since the E46 3 Series coupe. While we won’t drive the car until the fall, these facts and the early reviews point to a car that should carry the tradition of the much loved 3 Series coupe forward.
