According to well placed sources and backed up by our own, Alpna will be releasing a four door Alpina B4 Gran Coupe late this year or early next. The car will be loosely based on the BMW M440i xDrive and will likely have well over 400 hp and 500 ft lbs of torque. In fact in the real world it may just be a better daily performance car than the new M3. To bad it won’t be coming to the US.

Alpina B4 Gran Coupe

The B4 has traditionally upstaged the M3 by equaling its performance while not sacrificing day to day livability. Styling has also been traditionally more understated which we love. But by moving from the two door to the four door, the Alpina B4 Gran Coupe will likely be more attract a wider base.
