We all know that Geneva will hold a surprise or two for the BMW. But they\'re not quite ready to give that away. But if you want to know what BMW will have on its stands other than an M3 Concept or another FWD concept (like the public debut of the 3GT) check out the following official release.
Today BMW is taking the wraps off of its newest model the 3GT. The 3GT follows in the foot steps of the 5 Series Gran Turismo in focusing on interior space and utility while maintaining a fast back silhouette. We expect the 3GT to debut in Geneva and eventually make its way to dealer showrooms this summer (including the US). Click through for the full release and photos.

According to <a href=\"http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry/mercedes-amg-loses-chassis-guru-bmw-m\">Autocar</a> Arnd Meyer, the man behind all chassis engineering for AMG has left to join BMW M. According to sources meyer will lead all chassis, powertrain, electrics and electronics development in future BMW M models likely starting <em>after</em> the upcoming M3/M4.

In a multi-faceted press release published this morning, BMW Motorrad has confirmed what was rumored yesterday: BMW is selling its Husqvarna sub-brand. As reported by <em>Hell For Leather</em> and featured here on BimmerFile, Husqvarna is being sold to Austrian company Pierer Industrie AG, a company with ownership ties to KTM executive Stefan Pierer.
Last summer we told you the M4 would be powered by a turbocharged inline six. We know from several sources that that engine will be based on the 3.0L N55. Now we have some further confirmation. Some enterprising gentleman on <a href=\"http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=798074\">Bimmerpost</a> did some detective work and reverse engineered his way to finding out a number of details about the upcoming M4. In doing so we have some confirmation on several aspects of the car plus a few new details - including the all important engine code.

<em>Hell for Leather</em> is reporting that KTM CEO Stefan Pierer is finalizing a deal to acquire BMW\'s subsidiary offroad motorcycle marque, Husqvarna, via Pierer Industries AG. Pierer is part owner in KTM through shares in Cross AG, which is also backed by Indian moto giant Bajaj. It was originally thought that KTM was vying to acquire the small motor maker outright, but as more information has come in, the situation has gotten more nuanced.
