BMW i3 in Motion and Out in the World

The i3 Coupe is such a new shape it can be hard to come to terms with how it will actually look in the real world. That\'s what makes this video so interesting - seeing the little electric car on real roads and among real traffic gives you a good indication of size and proportion.

BF Garage: Sizing Matters

The new 1 is almost perfect from a intimacy and comfort level for size. Without looking at the dimensions, it \"feels\" the size of an E46 with a bit more room in the back, or maybe it its the angles of everything but it all just feels the way it should. If the rumors come to fruition and the board will green light a 1 series sedan for the US, it would be a huge success with enthusiasts as the size is right and with those that feel the 3er has moved into the stratosphere price wise.

2012 BMW Motorrad GS Trophy Day 5 Recap

Day five of the BMW Motorrad GS Trophy 2012 was the competition’s second marathon stage, with a distance slightly over 400km and the complication of a border crossing to deal with as the riders returned to Chile. As much as BMW\'s design language is lead by the 6 and 7 Series, it\'s typically the 3 Series that is the best resolved aesthetically. The front-end is a particularly well articulated version of BMW\'s recent form language. Then there\'s the mantra that every 3 Series Coupe has followed; lower, wider and sleeker. The 4 Series takes this even further with 5 cm more length, 1.6 cm less height and 4.4 cm more width. It\'s almost enough to move it out of the sports sedan category and into the GT class.

World Premier: BMW 4 Series Concept

Ladies and gentlemen, the curtain has dropped. This is the new BMW 4 Series. Take away the wicker cup holders and quarter inch think leather and you have what will be on dealer lots late next year. The 4 Series picks up from where the E92 3 Series left off. Lower, wider, sleeker and more sophisticated in every succeeding generation, the 3 Series Coupe has increasingly gone further upmarket. With renaming the car the 4 Series BMW is further signaling that this is a car isn\'t just a two door 3 Series.

2012 BMW Motorrad GS Trophy Day 4 Recap

Day four of the BMW Motorrad GS Trophy 2012 was intended to be an ‘easier’ day given that it’s sandwiched between two marathon stages. However it didn’t quite turn out that way, with two riders injured in crashes during the enduro special test and minor spills on the leg of the course that ran up to the Ventisquero Negro (Black Glacier) on Mount Cerro Tronador, fortunately without further injuries.
